To the english teachers, it is one month's break from work. To us students, it is just one month of prolonged sorrow. Oh well, back to do my homework I guess.

to get myself out
of this malicious cycle
and the fallacious paths
i've taken thus far
Fate has been toying
with what we call Life.

As i sat down, i thought, "Isn't there alleged to be a law to preclude people from talking so loudly?". i sighed, hoping there will be a law to prevent this from happening again.

which filled my brain to the brim

and blow up his own capabilities
i punched his nose, in a state of frenzy

week 4
i have been pretty nettled by certain issues lately, in a supine position, I lie on my bed silently, contemplating on life...
What's with the world these days? the pragmatism of people in this society certainly turns me off, and makes me ponder on the bias and stereotyped mentality that the real world has.
if this goes on forever, this would probably be one of the incisive realities of what we call, Life.
when will this end? will this even come to a momentary standstill? alas, the cruelty of the human minds.

To succeed, I think we must first have diatribes. This is so that we know what people may think of us and thus improve on the part where it is criticised. Furthermore, it is also integral for us to keep improving so that we can expunge the critism forever.
However, we must not take critism too seriously, because their opinion may be biased and incoherent. Therefore, people taking it seriously will fortuitiously beleived it and waste their time improving on something they are already good at and to be saddened by it. So, to effectively take critism, we must be nominally serious.

One day, I went to a hawker centre inundated with people. They were actually queing up at a particular stall selling hokkien mee. I conjucture that their hokkien mee must be very delicious and famous that so many zealous food-lovers are queing up for it.
Out of the blue, the stallholder and a customer quarreled and several offensive words were heard. According to the customers queing up behind them, the quarrel broke out because the lax stallholder accidentally spilled the plate of hokkien mee onto the customer.
After quite some time, the quarrel was finally resolved when the stallholder decided to treat the customer their hokkien mee as an apology. And every customer heaved a sigh of relief as they can finally eat the deicious hokkien mee. I thought that if the stallholder were more meticulous, this incident would not have happened.

Is Trust The Way To A Better World?
What is trust?
That's what everyone in their lifetime will ask. Trust is both an emotional and logical act.
Emotionally, it is where you expose your vulnerabilities to, beleiving they will not take advantage of your openness.
Logically, it is where you assessed the probabilities of gian and loss, calculating expected utility based on hard performance data and concluded that the person in question will behave in a predictable manner.
In practice, trust is a bit of both. For example, i trust u because of your trustworthiness and because i have faith in human nature.
Trust is also based on the principle of reciprocity which binds society together. In value exchange trust occurs when we receive something based on the "perception" or "feeling" that we are receiving what we expect.
Trust Is Definitely The Way To A Better World
Trust means being able to predict what other people will do and what situations will occur. If we can surround ourselves with people we trust, then we can create a safe present and an even better future.
In this way, trust makes social life predictable and creates a sense of community and makes it easier for people to work together. Furthermore, to become succesful individuals and organizations must build trust. We build trust by doing something kind, helpful or useful for somebody else everyday. Therefore, to be sucessful, we must find ways to help others solve their problems or give something they need.
We should be ready to trust our guts and our intuition, there should be a match between what we talk and do, which is called congruency, which is crucial to build trust and maintain it.
However, to create trust, we must first obey the 'golden rule', "Do unto others as you would have to unto YOU". Trust is a mental and emotional state which cannot be measured directly and trust makes social life predictable and creates a sense of community.
Communication is also trust building. Great leaders communicate often and well. When we are told to do something, we will frequently ask why. This is because we want to know why we have to do something. Therefore we should state our intent clearly abd repeat it insuch a way we are not misunderstood.
Trust is FAITH and enemy is doubt. Let us fill our mind with thoughts of faith, confidence, hope, charity and positive experiences. We must build that shared belief that we can depend on each other to achieve a common purpose.
Life is about building relationship which requires the building of trust. We are used to have the expectancy that we can rely in the words of others. Trust and relationships are built through integrity and consistency in our relationships. Also, to be sucessful with our teams we need mutual trust, shared values, an inspiring vision, complimentary skills and lead people by placing trust in people. To build trust and good relationships we have to learn to listen. A conversation is a relationship and effective communication is paramount to building relationships and influencing people.
The most important single ingredient in the formula of sucess is knowing how to get along with people. And the most important and closest relationship is the relationship with ourselves. We have to coach, love and care for us what we are and for what we want to become.
